Clan MacQueen is a historic Highland Scottish clan, part of the Chattan Confederation, and traditionally linked to Clan Donald. Believed to descend from the High Kings of Ireland, the MacQueens (also known as MacSweens) settled in Findhorn after escorting a MacDonald bride to the Mackintosh chief, strengthening their Highland alliance.
