This is the authorized Clan Laing Society tartan which was recovered from the grave of George Henry Laing who died in 1853 in East Texas. George had moved to Texas from Liberty County conterminous to the Gaelic- speaking community of Darien in Georgia. Laing Tartan is generally made of Acrylic Wool material and it has the features of a sky blue background with red, yellow, and white lines in it which will lighten up the tartan and give it a bit more balance.
