Campbell of Cawdor Ancient Tartan

Clan Campbell was important in the West of Scotland and in Argyllshire. They were known by the name of Diarmid and were granted the title Lordship Lochow at the morning of the 13th century. Colin Campbell of Lochow, the father of the Campbells from Argyll got knighted around 1280. latterly, the chiefs were Earls Argyll as well. In 1701 William of Orange conferred a Dukedom to the 10th Earl. The 9th Earl was executed in 1685 over his participation in the Monmouth Rebellion. The Campbells played a significant  part in state affairs and held high-ranking posts which included Hereditary Lord Justice General as well as Admiral for Scotland's Western Beachfronts and Islands of Scotland. Campbell of Cawdor Ancient Tartan is applicable for any occasion and event. The tartan is generally composed of Acrylic wool and includes blue, green, and black. It also has red and sky blue lines that will help lighten the tartan and give it with an redundant balance.
